SAGD water treatment samples
I am posting one picture I took at a SAGD site in 2005 winter. I was using one stage coalescer to treat the SAGD water directly from SAGD HTS. The cleaner water sample in the picture is 20-30 ppm OIW. I do not remember how much ppm the inlet water (dirty one) is. I am not sure if is about 200ppm. The result is not good enough for recycle to boiler.

Is this in Alberta?
ReplyDeleteWater is usually treated in multiple stages before you can use it on a boiler.
Long time not checked my blog as so busy.
ReplyDeleteYes it is in a SAGD site of Alberta.
